Kaylin Garnett MSN, FNP-BC, is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and licensed in Alabama. Kaylin is specially trained to provide superior healthcare to patients of all ages but has a passion for pediatrics.
Kaylin began her career as a toxicology analyst performing clinical and forensic drug testing. Kaylin then pursued her interest in nursing and attained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama, graduating with honors. While working in an ambulatory surgical center, Kaylin completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Auburn University, specializing in Family Primary Care. With her clinical experience and operating room background, Kaylin has an exceptional foundation for providing the best dermatological care in the clinic and the surgical setting. Kaylin assists Dr. Nash with surgical excisions and Mohs surgeries, while also performing many different types of cosmetic surgical closures. She uses her medical skills to diagnose skin cancers and multiple skin conditions, with a purpose to help enhance healthy, beautiful skin. She enjoys getting to know her patients and believes in developing trust to form long-lasting relationships with them.
Kaylin grew up in Montgomery, AL, and moved to Auburn in 2003 to start college. While attending Auburn University, she met her husband, Brad. They now have three children and are proud to call Auburn home. She enjoys reading, theatre, and spending time with family. Also, she serves as a mentor and inspires other nurses desiring to advance their careers. Kaylin loves “the prettiest village on the plains” and enjoys being a part of the community.
