Katie Gamper MSN, CRNP, is a Family Nurse Practitioner who is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is licensed in the state of Alabama. Katie has been a resident of the Opelika-Auburn area her entire life. She enjoys caring for her patients and prides herself on treating her patients “like family.”
Katie graduated from Southern Union State Community College in Opelika, AL with an Associates in Science and then was accepted to nursing school at the University of Alabama where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2010. After graduation, she provided wound care for post-surgical patients in Gastroenterology and Urology where she earned an “Excellent in Nursing” award for her compassion and care of her patients. After 4 years of medical/surgical practice, she moved back to the Auburn-Opelika area working in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at EAMC while earning her Master’s in Family Nurse Practitioner at UAB in 2014. After completion of her studies, Katie began her career as a Nurse Practitioner in primary care and transitioned to urgent care before entering the field of Dermatology where she assists Dr. Nash with his medical clinic and Mohs surgery.
Katie and her husband David live in the Beauregard community and have two daughters, and multiple animals. They love spending time outdoors as a family, gardening or tending to their flock of animals.
